Luke Allsbrook received a BFA in Painting from Indiana University and an MFA from The New York Academy of Art.
He is the only American artist ever to serve as "Tour Artist" for His Majesty King Charles III. Luke filled this post during His Majesty's 2005 state tour of the United States. All the artworks created during the tour were acquired for the Royal Collection.
His paintings are also included in the collection of Christopher Forbes, Mercedes Benz, 3M, The US Department of State, The Morris Museum of Art, and the Divinity schools of Duke University and SMU among others. He has taught drawing and painting at the New York Academy of Art, The Lyme Academy of Art, William Paterson University, UNC-Asheville, and in Italy with the University of Georgia Cortona Program. He resides with his wife and family in the mountains of Western North Carolina.
